Description
Meals on Wheels utilizes volunteers to deliver hot lunches Monday through Friday
to the homes of people over the age of 60 who have physical disabilities, chronic
illness, or other ailments which prohibit them from leaving their home without
assistance and make it difficult for them to prepare their own meals.
The program's goals are to promote good nutrition and health, offer encouragement,
and enable people to continue to life in their own homes and retain a degree
of independence as long as possible.
